Scholarship Information
Micron Science
and Technology Scholars program award:
one $55,000 scholarship and twelve $16,500 scholarships to high school seniors
interested in studying Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Material Science. At
least two awards are guaranteed in each participating state (Idaho, Utah,
Colorado, Texas, and Virginia). Students may use the scholarship at any
accredited four-year institution. The high school of each awardee also receives
a grant of $1,000. Other opportunities such as mentoring, an awards banquet, and
a technology leadership conference exist for those selected as "Micron
